Following the acquisition of long-established Altrincham based Morrison Property Services by Oakwood in November 2020, the management and agency business has been growing and a new Property Manager has been appointed.
Ciaran Dwyer, formerly of agent Thornley Groves, has been recruited to oversee development of the agency and management side of the business, with a programme of modernisation and improved use of IT.
Oakwood managing director, Graham Bowcock, said “We have seen some exciting times in the north Cheshire/south Manchester property market with significant demand for properties in all sectors. We have sold houses, shops and farmland off market with some great results for our clients. There remains a massive pent-up demand in the area and we are looking to grow the business. We welcome Ciaran on board to work on this development and bring the benefit of his experience. He is already making an impact after just a couple of weeks with us”.

Oakwood now has a team of nine, including viewing representatives, and operates out of Station House in Altrincham. Besides agency work there are Registered Valuers undertaking valuations for all purposes across the North West and advising on strategic development.
